I'm Jen, a licensed pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey and New York and certified by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). I completed my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at St. John's University. I am trained in SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) for the treatment of feeding disorders and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing for the treatment of Apraxia and speech sound disorders.
I love the imaginative, creative, light-hearted energy of children. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I aim to bring that same playful energy to our therapy sessions! My superpower is building a connection with children in order to make therapy fun, meaningful, and relevant for each individual child. Using current, evidence-based therapeutic techniques, each child's specific interests, and motivating activities, my therapy sessions are both enjoyable and effective so your child succeeds in their goals.
As a mother to a young child, I can understand and relate to the challenges parents face. I love collaborating with caregivers to provide support and tools that are functional and meaningful for each family. By coaching caregivers through everyday activities, and bolstering what parents are already doing, we’re able to cultivate speech and language in leaps and bounds. I can’t wait to work with your family and watch your child bloom.
I’m Becky, a licensed pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey and certified by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). I completed my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Columbia University Teacher College. I am trained in PROMPT (PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) for the treatment of Apraxia and speech sound disorders and Orton Gillingham for the treatment of dyslexia.
With over 10 years of experience in this field, I absolutely love what I do. My superpower is making learning fun. When children have fun during therapy, they are more likely to retain information and stay engaged. Therefore, I strive to infuse my therapy with energy and creativity to engage children and keep them interested and learning. By creating a motivating and interactive environment, I ensure that my therapy is not only functional and effective but also enjoyable.
As a mother of young children, I can understand the challenges parents face. I make it a priority to provide practical tips that parents can easily implement at home to support their child’s progress. I believe that collaboration between therapists and parents is crucial for a child's development, and I am dedicated to empowering families with the tools they need to facilitate their child’s growth. I can’t wait to work with your family and watch your child bloom.
